HUGE SUCCESS FOR SJAS IN PSWF ELECTIONS

A great success for the Sports Journalists Association of Sindh (SJAS) in the elections of the Pakistan Sports Writers Federation (PSWF).

SJAS’ members got key positions are Muhammad Asghar Azeem who was elected for the post of Secretary General. Ubaid Awan became the Vice President while Muhammad Asif Khan, Shahid Usman Saati and Mahmood Riaz were chosen in the PSWF’s Executive Council.

On the occasion of International Peace and Sports Conference in Peshawar, the process of elections of Pakistan Sports Writers Federation was also completed. Chairman Election Commission Nadir Khawaja while AIPS Asia Treasurer Niranjan Abzor of Nepal was the Observer.

New officials were elected unanimously for the next four years.

The officials are:
Lifetime Chairman Shahid Sheikh, President Amjad Aziz Mallik, Senior Vice President Zahid Farooq Malik, Vice-Presidents Ubaid -ur-Rehman Awan, Shah Muhammad Dotani, Asim Shiraz and Sohail Ali. General Secretary Muhammad Asghar Azeem, Associate Secretaries Imran Yousafzai and Abdul Jabbar Faisal while Shahzad Malik was elected as Treasurer. The Executive Council includes Muhammad Asif Khan, Mehmood Riaz, Shahid Usman Sati, Ejaz Ahmed, Shahid Afridi, Syed Ali Hashmi, Khurram Ata Butt, Nader Khawaja, Shakeel Awan, Arif Mahmood and Muhammad Ajmal.
