It is a great honor for me to be a part of the Sports Journalists Association Sindh (SJAS) family. I would like to thank SJAS for appointing me as the Patron of this energetic Sports Association. I am very happy to see Sports Journalists united on one platform. SJAS and its members have been actively involved in promoting Sports in Sindh, particularly in Karachi. They have been fulfilling their professional responsibilities fittingly. I congratulate SJAS on launching its website. It is a vibrant website where everyone can find information about SJAS’s history, its members, activities, and other relevant stuff. I wish SJAS all the best in its future endeavors. I am always available to assist SJAS to the best of my abilities. Dr. Junaid Ali Shah is an avid sports lover and despite his hectic professional schedule, he manages time to look after his sports foundation, Asghar Ali Shah sports foundation. He is also the president of the Karachi Hockey Association. Like his late father, Dr. Junaid is also passionate about the betterment of sports and putting his wholehearted efforts to carry forward his father’s legacy.
Prof. Dr. Farhan Essa
Sports Journalists Association Sindh SJAS is working uniquely in the field of sports. I as a Managing Director of Dr. Essa Laboratory and Diagnostic Center organize different sports activity to make people healthy by doing some physical exercise and SJAS help us to promote our efforts for those games which are totally dead in people’s mind like “Table Tennis, Basketball, Tennis, Bridge, Polo, Golf, Hockey, etc”. But I ever appreciate SJAS all the efforts regarding sports. Farhan Essa Abdullah is Doctor by Profession and an avid sports lover, despite his busy professional schedule, he manages time to organize different Sports events in the City. Dr. Farhan Essa is the Director of Operations and Clinical Microbiologist Dr. Essa’s Laboratory and Diagnostic Centre. He has also served as an Assistant Professor of Microbiology and Immunology at the Dow University of Health Sciences, where he was also a member of the Research Advisory Committee.
Khawaja Ahmed Mustaqeem
I have been associated with the Sports Journalists Association of Sindh (SJAS), as its Patron for about three years. Although I knew their operations well before ever since I became an active part I got to know them closely. During the course of time, I noticed a lot of pleasant aspects of SJAS’ working methods but some of those stand-out. On top, I can say with conviction that they are honestly dedicated to the benefit of sports journalists in the province. From time to time, SJAS organized programs to honor athletes and journalists for their outstanding services. They also hold training programs and various competitions amongst journalists which is a very heartening thing. All in all, I feel SJAS is the best regional association in the country which is catering to the needs of journalists across the province. I wish SJAS well in the future and reiterate my support to them.
